Printing Money At Home
How To Make Money At Home On The Internet
I have spent over a year, bouncing around the internet, discovering and working with a variety of websites that will pay you to sit on the couch, from the comfort of your home and make money.
During your search for places online that will pay you to work out of your home, you will find a variety of jobs, with a variety of payments that you can make. But which ones are legit? Which ones are for you? For those like me, that don't find clicking on ads, or taking surveys, an enjoyable way of making an extra dollar, will find the websites below very interesting. You will not find websites that are found due to information that was located from the internet. These are actual places that I have signed up for, worked for, and have experienced first hand. I have chosen to stay away from ad clicking and filling out surveys, because you end up getting bombarded with spam and junk mail, and you make only pennies.
These are only my opinions, and some people would either agree or disagree with me, however, they are facts based on my experiences. If you are interested in joining or signing up at any of these websites, all you have to do is click on the name of the company.
Just remember one thing when browsing these sites, and that's to be your own boss, and make your own decision as to what websites you feel comfortable with, and which ones you don't. What might be bad for one person, could possibly be good for another.
ASSOCIATED CONTENT - This company has been around since 2005, and it's a place where you can write articles and be paid, based upon how many views your articles receive. You receive $1.50 for every 1, 000 views. They use PayPal as the form of payment to you, and they pay monthly. This might not seem like a lot, however, it adds up fast, and if you use the appropriate key words, along with advertising, you'll find that within time, you could possibly have a nice residual income. They have a referral program, and also allow you to write articles that you can be paid upfront for. You make the choice. You can write about any subject you want, or you can choose one of their articles that they suggest. The articles you write, need to be at least 400 words. The only thing I could say about Associated Content that I don't like, is that the pay is not as high as some of the other websites out there, however, it's a nice place to get started. I've always chosen to upload my articles as non-exclusive, and automatic performance payments. This will allow me to re-submit my article elsewhere. It's best to re-write your articles if you're going to insert them on another website, because Google is not a happy camper when it comes to duplications of articles. I have tried uploading my articles for upfront payment, and have been turned down several times, due to the company feeling that they didn't think it would be an article that would bring in many viewers. However, the articles that have been turned down, were re-submitted as "automatic performance payment" articles, and they have been my best articles so far when it comes to earnings.
BUKISA - This is another website where you can write articles. I've been on Bukisa for 4 months, and have made $109.95. That's not too bad for passive income. I only write a few items per month lately, because I've had a few busy months doing other things, and haven't had the time to write, however, I still get paid for my articles on a monthly basis. Bukisa pays you every month, based on what they call the "Bukisa Index". Right now the pay is $3.49 per 1, 000 views. (We just recently got a pay raise). Bukisa bases their index on their profits. When they make more money, your articles will make more money. You are paid at the beginning of every month, as long as you've made at least $10.00. If you don't make it the first month, the amount you do make, will carry over to the next month. I have always been paid each month by the 5th of the month. The major thing I like about Bukisa is the ability to add your photos to your articles. Their online software makes it easy to upload your photos directly to their website. They also allow you to view every penny, each one of your articles is making, so you know which ones are doing well, and which ones aren't. They also allow you to edit your articles, even after they are published. Your articles have to be approved in advance, however, I've always had my articles approved within 24 hours. Bukisa also has a referral program.
eHow - Everyone has "How to" questions, and this is where you can put your "How to" answers, and get paid for them. This website only allows articles that answer the question "How to". For example: How to Make a Cake? How to Make Money Online? If it doesn't begin with "How to", then it can't be published here, unless you sign up through the company that now owns them, which is "Demand Studios". Your "How to" articles has to be at least 400 words, which will consist from the title, all the way down to the tips and warnings. I started out on eHow about a year ago, and I've made as much as $75.00 a month. However, it has slowed down a little and I'm making about $50.00 a month there now, however, I have 100 articles online. But then again, I haven't posted an article over there in over a month. This is another place where you can make residual income on a monthly basis. One nice thing about eHow is that you can make lots of friends, and you have the opportunity to visit their articles as well. eHow pays by how many people view your articles, and also by the interesting ads that are put on your article's page, as well. This website has a platform that will allow you to see exactly what each one of your articles is making per day. This is a really nice feature. I've never understood why people will answer "How to" questions for other online jobs to get paid pennies on the dollar, when they could actually insert those answer into eHow's website and get paid every single month on them. I recommend eHow highly, and plan on putting more articles online soon there. It's also a nice place to put recipes if you enjoy cooking. My top paying recipe article have been about "How to Make Meatloaf" & "How to Make Icing for Sugar Cookies" . . . imagine that.
EXAMINER - This is another website where you can write articles and get paid. I worked for this company for 2 months, however, I recently decided to no longer work there. You are required to write 4 articles a week to remain as a writer on their website. If you're hired as a local examiner on this website, you are only allowed to write local articles. This limits you to some of the articles that you could write elsewhere. One thing I did not like about examiner, was that I did not have the opportunity to write articles that were about things that were outside the local area that I live. Another con about this website was that you have no clue as to what articles are making you any money. They do not reveal the information of how much you're making per article, which is what discouraged me from continuing to write for them. I was only a member for a few months. Maybe I didn't give it enough time, however, I did not feel comfortable there, even though I absolutely loved the software that they use to create the articles. The people seemed nice, and they always responded to emails promptly, however, this was just not a place for me to write my articles, because I wanted to broaden my area, more than they would allow me to. If you live in a big city where there is a lot of news, this would be the place to sign up to write your articles.
DEMAND STUDIOS - On Demand Studios, a variety of jobs are offered. Positions of Writers, Copy Editors, and Filmmakers, are offered when applying for a job at this company. I originally applied for the job as a Copy Editor. I received an email within a few days that indicated that I was not eligible at the time for a Copy Editor position. I was very upset, because I was looking forward to working for them as an independent contractor. About 2 months after I received the email indicating that I wasn't hired, I then received an email asking if I'd like to take a test for a Title Proofer, or Keyword QA position. I took both tests, and was hired on as a Keyword QA position. I've been freelancing with Demand Studios for about 3 months now, and I'm absolutely loving it. My position only pays 1 cent per click, but I average from $9.00 - $10.00 an hour, and that's not bad money, considering I can sit in my pajamas with my slippers on, to do it. It doesn't cost me any money to get to work, no wear and tear on my car, nor long waits at traffic lights to get to or from work. I recommend Demand Studios highly, however, be prepared to wait before you are hired. I've spoken to some friends that have told me they applied 4 months ago, and still have not, to this day, received an email from them. I guess I'm one of the very fortunate people to have the chance to work for this company.
ChaCha - This is a company that is like no other when it comes to working at home. I know that they were hiring last week, but you can visit this website and check to see if they're still hiring. ChaCha has extensive training that you have to go through before you are hired. They want to make sure that you're aware of how their software works, and what your job is consisting of, before they hire you. This company is a mobile assisted answering service, where people will call or text questions, and your job is to take care of the questions on the opposite end. When I first applied for the job at ChaCha, I took the test, and was informed about 14 days later that I did not pass the test. I sure felt stupid, until I spoke to many people that told me that they failed the test as well. However, I did speak to a friend that said she was hired as an Expeditor. I just figured that maybe this job wasn't meant for me, and went on my way. About 2 weeks later, I received an email that asked if I would like to take a test to be a Transcriber. I thought to myself that this is right down my alley. I would much prefer a job as a Transcriber because I typed for a printing company for 21 years, and typing is like breathing to me. I took the test and was hired, however, I'm not 100% satisfied with how this company operates quite yet. The pay is not that good, however, the work is fun, once you can get past hearing the voices of children asking questions that you would never imagine in a million years would come out of child's mouth. Another thing that bothers me is that you have to keep your quality and accuracy above 95%. This is difficult to do, because if someone calls that you can't understand and you misinterpret the transcription, this goes against your quality. I've been from 80% - 100%, and back down to 80% in just a matter of a few weeks.
You are paid through ChaCha on a point basis. The points are transferred to cash at the end of the month. The pay varies from month to month, depending on the shares that are in a dedicated compensation pool. ChaCha has contests that can boost your points. One thing I do like about ChaCha is that you get to pick your own hours. I have chosen not to sign up for a ChaCha pay as you go plan, due to not wanting to sign up for a bank account located in another state. I've chosen to get paid via PayPal, and in order to do that, you have to make at least $100.00 to get paid. Some people say that it averages 3 cents per answer, however, I'm not sure yet, because I haven't made the $100.00 minimum to get paid yet.
KGB - This company is new to me, and I honestly have not been hired yet as an independent contractor. It's basically very similar to ChaCha, however, where ChaCha allows texting and calls for free, KGB charges 99 cents per call. This pretty much assures you that you won't be receiving sexual explicit questions, or calls that make no sense, because customers are not going to pay 99 cents per phone call for a childish prank call. The only thing I can indicate during this time about this website is, the tests you have to take to qualify to be able to do work for them, is very extensive. As long as you have a search engine pulled up in a 2nd browser window, you should be okay. However, I took the test 3 times before I finally passed it. I kept getting stumped on the math questions. I think this website might be fun. It pays through PayPal, and you receive 5 cents per simple answers, and 10 cents per more extensive answers. You have to make a minimum of $50.00 before you qualify for payment. They pay once a month.
SEED - This is a website for writers that can make a good sum of money if they can find an article that they are interested in writing about. Seed purchases and delivers work to 80+ different AOL websites that specialize on a variety of topics. Once you accept an assignment by looking through the numerous choices that you have to pick from, you complete it, and then get paid. This is not a website that junk articles will slip through, because it has professional editors that will review every single article you type, to assure their clients that they are getting the best for their money. For now, Seed is not accepting any articles that you have published anywhere else on the internet. They want their articles to be originals. If they do not accept your article, you are then allowed to insert it on one of the other websites that you might be writing for at the time.
CLOUDCROWD - This is a company that bases their business through an application that you have to gain access to, through having an account with Facebook. I use to work for this particular company for a few months, until I was dismissed due to my quality percentage getting below 30%. It's not difficult to do, because if you don't work during the week, your percentage automatically goes down. In my case, I had 93% and the company did not have any work for any one to do for a full week. When work came in, which was very little (maybe 10 minutes worth), I went to my account and my percentage was down to 70%. Just because I didn't do any work for one week, because there wasn't any work to do, my percentage dropped 23%. Well, this kept happening due to lack of work, and I finally got below 30% and a message popped up that indicated my account was closed. That's the con about this website. The pay was not that good, however, they did pay you for your work within 24 hours. I've gotten paid 1 cent several times in my PayPal account. Hmmm..... I'll make sure I don't spend it all at one place.
MTURK - This is a website where providers will hire people to do a variety of work for them. Payments are through an Amazon account, however, I've had no problem receiving my payment. It's deposit directly into your bank account once you reach at least the $10.00 minimum, and you are the one that tells it when to be deposited. I like the payment feature with this particular company, however, it's a website that you have to visit daily to see what decent jobs for the pay are available. I had a job once, that required me to give my opinion on a scale of 1 - 5 about photos. It was a fun job, went quickly, and I made my first payment within a few hours. However, there are also jobs on there that aren't worth a penny or 2 cents to do for the work that is required. It's free to sign up, and you can always check back occasionally to see what they're offering. I've chosen to stay away from the jobs that offer to pay you 50 cents to write a 400 word article. It would be more beneficial for you to put those articles on one of the websites above, and gain residual income from it on a monthly basis, every single month.
PIXPROFIT - Bet not many of you have heard of this one. You know those captcher boxes that come up when you're signing into a variety of websites? The ones where you have to type those crazy letters and numbers in the box to tell the computer that you're a human and not a computer? Well this is what this website is all about. You type 1, 000 of these goofy captchers and you get a whopping $1.00. I tried this. I'll give anything a try just once. I think you end up averaging about $3.00 an hour. Wasn't worth my time, so I actually wrote an article about it over at eHow. You can check it out here . . . "How to Feel Like an Idiot Typing for PixProfit". Don't laugh, I've made over $5.00 on this crazy article.
Wherever you decide to go to make an extra dollar, I wish everyone the best.
