1040 Questions? Child support? House in trust?
I have two questions regarding the 1040 form for 2008 taxes. First off, for "Did anyone owe you money which had become uncollectible?" - can that refer to child support? Secondly, Did you or your spouse make any gifts to an individual that total more than 12,000 or any gifts to a trust? Where does placing money for home improvements into a home which is in trust fall under this? Or does it not? Thanks so much.
