It seems no matter where you go on the Internet there is always some sort of ad or website claiming to hold the key to riches while working from home. While it is unlikely someone will ever hit the jackpot with such scams, there truly are ways to make money from home that can substitute for full or part-time jobs. ChaCha is a service that provides answers to any questions sent in by users. The users receive answers back via SMS text messages by an actual human. Questions can be asked by phone call, text message, or Internet search. There are different roles to choose from when you become a ChaCha Guide. These roles are:

Expediters - Sorting by category and editing questions that come in through the system, if you are an expediter hired after December 1, 2009, you will earn 2 points for every session you complete.

Transcribers - Creating text forms of the phoned in questions, being a transcriber hired after December 1, 2009, you will also earn 2 points for every session you complete.

Generalists/Specialists - Answering the incoming text versions of questions that are sent in by users, you will earn 8 points.

The points work on a system where there is a large pool of money that is converted into cash based on the tier of the guides. The more questions and points guides complete all together, the more they earn.

Doing ChaCha for money would be more of a supplemental type of work while watching TV or something, that can be both fun and frustrating. You will never cease to be amazed at the types of questions people ask and, honestly, they can really be quite entertaining.
